The painting that sparked my love for leopards - when I saw the bright (and mischievous) twinkle in this little cutie's eye I knew I had to paint him. The soft look of his fur just makes you want to reach out and cuddle him. Leopard babies eyes are a beautiful denim-coloured blue at 10 days of age and then slowly change to bright yellow or gold.

Created using pastel mat board and high quality lightfast pastels.
